Of course before starting this blog I looked for others dedicated to migration related issues.
So far I found the following:

Immigration News is as new as Migration Island. Currently writing from Canada, Johnny has lived in many different countries and is passionate about “the effects of migration on individual character development, the family dynamic and how the political machine tries to keep up with and cope with this interesting phenomenon”. His blog sounds promising, so I will definitely keep an eye on it.

A very different point of view on immigration comes from The Immigration Blog. A collaborative six months old blog presenting a conservative view on immigration issues in the US.

From the US also Beyond Borders Blog . This is written by Conor Friedersdorf, who manages San Bernardino County Sun’s blog on immigration issues and writes a column about the blog which appears in The Sun twice weekly.

From Australia, the African Refugees blog, dedicated to the life of African refugees in Australia.

Obviously, I will keep looking for other blogs, if you know more just let me know.

Prima di iniziare questo blog ho cercarto di scovare altri blogs dedicati all’immigrazione.
Per il momento ho trovato:

Immigration News è un blog nuovissimo come lo è del resto Migration Island. L’autore, Jonny, che ha vissuto in varie parti del mondo, è interessato agli effetti dell’immigrazione sullo sviluppo del carattere individuale delle persone e sulle dinamiche di famiglia, e vuole esplorare il modo in cui la politica cerca di affrontare questo fenomeno. Il suo blog promette bene ed io lo seguirò certamente.

Molto diverso il dibattito sull’ immigrazione che si trova su The Immigration Blog . Il blog, che è on-line da circa sei mesi, ha vari autori che affrontano vari argomenti relativi all’immigrazione negli USA dal punto di vista conservatore.

Dagli USA anche Beyond Borders Blog . Questo è il blog di Conor Friedersdorf che cura il blog dedicato all’immigrazione per il San Bernardino County Sun’s blog per il quale scrive anche una rubrica che viene pubblicata settimanalmente.

Dall’ Australia, the African Refugees blog, una finestra sull’esperienza dei rifugiati Africani in Australia.
